Founder's Story

Getting to be part of the team building a cybersecurity startup since his late teens all while still college one thing was clear to Vidit; deeply understanding customer problems and solving them is what woke him up in the morning (or be up at night for those of you who him 😀)

From a masters in cybersecurity to help build the first ever insider threat and UEBA company Vidit has always been at the cusp of the role end users play in security of an enterprise.

Every customer he spoke to had consistent problems:

  • Nearly every breach involves the end users.
  • Security teams spend most time in end user-based alerts that are 99% false positives due to human negligence, errors.
  • Anything current preventive tools do cause business disruption.

And even more consistent answers on how they are “not solving” this today:

  • Keep training end users
  • Detect 1000’s of alerts that then SOC triages reaches out to end user to confirm, verify, coach.
  • Cause business disruption by trying to simply block things.

Quilr came about because of a simple question Vidit asked a CISO when he heard all this - “Why don't we use AI to interact with the user when they perform the activity and right where they work?”

Welcome Quilr! A network of AI agents that simply interacts with the users as your security team would with no business disruption.
